We are team of experienced MVC developers currently in year two of a large scale MVC application being finalised and sold to councils throughout the UK.
The ASP.NET MVC Framework is a .NET framework that implements the model-view-controller pattern. Based on ASP.NET, it allows software developers to rapidly build a Web application through a combination of three roles: Model, View and Controller. A model is responsible for the state of a particular aspect of the application. A controller is responsible for handling end user interaction, passing information to the view. A view is a collection of components that display the application's user interface.
The MVC pattern can also help enable test driven development - whereby before code is created unit tests are written to verify the requirements of the new code.
