  • Drupal's Views module ranks as one of the most powerful tools in the CMS. However, complex queries that involve relationships between different content types often throw up duplicated results. A simple example of this, is an "Artist" has many "Paintings". If all of the paintings are shown on the Artists individual node, you may want to just show the names of the Artist instead of their Paintings. There are many ways to achieve this with Views, but if you are using Views Exposed Filters - we are unable to use Arguments to achieve this, therefore this is our recommended method.
  • This article explains how you can use CCK variables to customise each of your nodes. You will need FTP access to your server and to know the basic workings of the CCK module.
  • This article is based on Drupal - the free open source content management system.
  • You may have your website setup, so a user can simply sign up, create a piece of content, and then have it published immediately. An example of this is a Company Profile. To keep strict control of page stylings, you may want to force an Input Format upon the Company Profile. For example, a format that doesn't allow <span> tags or even depricated HTML attributes, such as, "bgcolor" and "color".
  • An input filter simply filters code that is inputted into your Drupal pages, by your users. They are designed to increase security so that users cannot enter malicious code (whether its purposely or accidentally) onto your pages. They are fully customisable and extensive, however, this article is a brief introduction to them.
  • This article will explain how to move a drupal installation, from one web server, to another. This often happens when you have created a website on a testing server, and then move it to the live server. It can also occur when you are moving to another hosting company and need to transfer your site to your new server.
  • The template of your website (the look and feel) all come from the theme that is activated on your Drupal website. This article will show you how to transform a theme you have downloaded for your Drupal site.
