Space North West awards Innovation Park web contract to sdesign1 Ltd

Space North West has awarded the contract to revamp the web presence of its flagship development, Liverpool Innovation Park (LIP), to tenant company sdesign1 Ltd.

The Innovation Park is a key element of Liverpool’s knowledge economy and a strategic site for investment in the North West being delivered by Space North West, a joint venture between the NWDA and Ashtenne Industrial Fund.

The redeveloped LIP website will display additional functionality consistent with LIP’s status as a North West innovation hub and site ready for international investment. The website will also be linked to the LIP tenant intranet which delivers event diary, news stream, tenant directory, and other services to LIP’s innovation community.

The Park’s Innovation Manager, Mark Tock said, ’We are especially pleased to have awarded the contract to a competitive bid from sdesign1 who, as a tenant business, are ideally placed to develop the website with existing and future tenants in mind.’

The LIP-based web design company, sdesign1 Ltd, has previously used its usability and compliance expertise to assist clients throughout the UK to develop websites that are both intuitive and consistent across a variety of platforms and devices. Current clients include a range of companies including ‘Prescriptions to You,’ ‘Elus,’ and ‘Merseyside ICT.’
