


This article is for anyone who has a multiple users on a WordPress website or blog, and wishes to have some sort of permissions based system in place. You will need to know how to install and enable a WordPress plugin.
The User Permissions module simply allows you to take control of what pages (or posts) are editable by other user roles in WordPress. To install this plugin simply:
This will now enable a configurable option on every Page and Post on your site. This example works the basis that you are logged in as an "Administrator" and the users you wish to prevent from editing your page, are "Editors".
If you navigate to your page you want to prevent an "Editor" from accessing, simply tick the checkbox next to "Administrator" for the "Write" permission and then save your page. This will prevent anyone except "Administrators" from being able to edit the page.
This module is configurable for all Roles in WordPress and can achieve a level of user access that WordPress does not offer "out the box".
