The following guide will show you how to insert Search Engine Optimising data into your individual pages, to help boost your search engine rank.

Optimising Search Engine Data

This page tells you how to ensure your pages present no barriers to Search Engines. In the bad old days it used to be called Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - now they call it online marketing. We're going to call it SEO because it's Friday. When you edit a page you will notice ....

To enhance your SEO you should enter:

• Title: The name of the page
• Description: A short and useful description of the page
• Keywords: A list of keywords associated with your page (these must be separated by commas) for example, a page dedicated to the UK could have the following keywords: United, Kingdom, England, Wales, Scotland, Northern, Ireland, Queen, Elizabeth.
